Fantabulous~!

So it's time to show off my favorite pins from the week via my pinterest account. This week's been insane, considering I spent it in two states and a lot of classes and homework. Overall, I'm just grateful that I've mostly stopped being tired.

This is the truest thing of all true things, as far as I am concerned. XD

I love windowseats. This is like...a windowseat made where there was one but isn't really a windowseat. But it's awesome and pretty.

I am embarrassed to admit that I threw a fit when I realized these weren't real... I really want a pair. :|

This is the cutest thing ever.

I love Bonnie Wright so much. She was a wonderful Ginny, and a gorgeous person.

No source apparent.

I love puppies! Especially every variety of spaniel.

I love JKR. She's got a way of making her words truly powerful.

A way to handle jeans zippers that think they belong open... Definitely a wonderful idea.

One of my favorite foods ever is Chicken Cordon Bleu. Seriously. Addiction.

This just...expresses like all my feelings about Neville. He's probably the second-bravest character in the story, right behind Snape. He doesn't just fight Voldemort - he argues with him face to face, even though he's probably more terrified than anyone else. I think I wanted to marry him after I'd finished Deathly Hallows, seriously. (I also was inspired to attempt copious amounts of fanfiction about him afterwards...)

I'm obsessed with drawing eyes - literally, I've got an entire page of "notes" in my English binder where I drew a ton of eyes when I should have been reading something. (It's ok, I read really quickly so I still came out okay...)

I always love photography tips. They're wonderful to have, whether or not I can use them all.

I laughed so hard when I found this... It's amazing. XD

All I want to know is: HOW WERE THESE DONE!? Because I want to make these my permanent nails. :|

Koh Samed, Thailand. Stunningly beautiful.

Quick Break

I'm a little off-kilter and a bit behind in homework, after Monday night's exhausted dramatic return to Texas from Portland. I'll be back on Friday with a 'Fantabulous' post, and back to normal from there. I just need the time to get everything in order and catch up on my sleep.

Thanks for understanding~

Panda Hat!

Yeah...I really did spend about forty bucks on panda hats in Portland... I regret nothing. :|

I'll try to get to the outfit posts tomorrow, but no guarantees. Jetlag and homework may decide to interfere.

Helmet Hair & Sunglasses

Remember this post and this post? Well, I finally reshot the outfit, since the dress survived!

The Seniors, for Homecoming Week, had the theme "East" under the overall theme of "America" (say it like Bush Jr. and you'll have the actual theme). Of course, I immediately knew I had to pay tribute to Anna Wintour. Oh yes... A slightly too-blond wig (everything the proper shade was curly and long :/ ) made it very possible. That, and some google searches. I took inspiration from this outfit she rocked a while back, adapting it to my wardrobe and the fact I'd be outside a bit. Yes, I wore sunglasses all day...

Wig - some Halloween store | Sunglasses - gas station | Dress - Lily | Tights - Forever 21 | Heels - Rue 21

What do you think?

Adding to the Blogroll

I read a lot of blogs...maybe you've noticed! And I'm always finding new ones. Right now, I'm trying to keep my blogroll up with the ones I read.

Fash Boulevard is to die for. It's run by Anna Hodge, who is an visual merchandiser and stylist in LA. Her blog includes "Fash Faves and Fails" from the stars, brands she's discovered, trend reports, and pictures of her adorable puppy, Maddox Dior. It's a wonderful blog!

Birchbox is...well, it's Birchbox! They're a beauty company that sends out monthly boxes with sample products in them, which I signed up for recently. (Am antsily awaiting November...) They also have a blog (ie, what I've linked you to) where you can get team intros, interviews, and find beauty tips from a variety of sources.

Jirka's Blog is the website of that artist. You've probably seen something about him on Pinterest or Yahoo! recently. Why? Because he's making a series of Disney characters translated to how they'd likely look in real life. (His other art's gorgeous too, but oh my god, you have to see Mulan!)

Downtownn is a healthy living tumblr. It's the source of the workout plan I recently started (speaking of which, I really need to get back to doing that...I slacked a bit over the weekend), and has tons of those, as well as diet plans. It's currently on a "long hiatus", but there's plenty to go through in the meantime.

PeaceLoveLipstick is exactly what it sounds like. Found through Birchbox's blog, where she was guest blogging earlier, the talented gal who runs this has chosen to focus entirely on lips. I'm learning tons as you read this.

Any blog recommendations for me?

Snape, Snape, Severus Snape

I decided to go for it and crossdress for Halloween. The result? A Snape, Michael Jackson, Dementor lovechild. (At least, that's how one of my friends chose to describe it...)

Oxford - school uniform | Tank - Wet Seal | Pants - La Luna Loca | Shoes - New Balance | Blazer/Cloak - Thrifted | Wig - some Halloween store

Yeah...the rings being in there is an accident. I didn't remember them until I got home. xD; Oh well~!

Frittatas, Yummy Yummy!

So...I cooked something.
It didn't explode.
It tasted good.
I was very impressed. xD

Recipe is from here. Quick (25 minutes), easy, and TOTALLY DELICIOUS OMNOMNOM.

I took some pictures of the finished products... Nowhere near as nice looking as the originals, but definitely delicious.

So yeah... People should definitely try these. |D

Fantabulous~

It's Friday again! This week has been a blaze of insanity - last weekend was Homecoming, I missed a day, I've been sleep-deprived, and I've had tons of homework, quizzes, and tests. And next week I'm going to Oregon to look at Reed College, so I have to do all the things!

What were your favorites, this week?

O the Insanity

I think the only post I'm going to manage getting up this week is Friday's.

Thank you for the sudden spike in everything, life.

Homecoming!!

The Homecoming Game was last Friday night, and it was fun! Our team won (against our major rival, may I add?) by a huge margin. Absolutely slaughtered the other side. Choir also sang, but I don't think I've got any pictures of us on the field. I did, however, get a few shots of my outfit when I returned home.

Shirt - school | Jeans - ??? | Oxfords - Wet Seal | Necklace - Rue 21 earring-turned pendant, vintage chain | Big ring - Charlotte Russe | Bracelet - thrifted | Purse - the sak

The night was spent stealing acquiring a vuvuzela from the other side, which will soon be wrapped in blue and white duct tape and be my favorite thing ever, wrestling with friends, filming the dance team, wrestling some more, watching fireworks, chasing a kid who made off with my vuvuzela, having the vuvuzela returned, and wrestling some more.

It was awesome.

The dance was the next night, and it was amazing. I didn't take my heels off the whole night (mwahahaha soon I will be invincible! Or something...), and had tons of fun. I'm glad I moved on from the freshman thing of moping because I didn't have a date. I think dances may actually be more fun without a date, because you get to spend all your time with your friends, and don't have to worry about some guy.

Headband - Forever 21 | Dress - Fallas | Heels - some little boutique | Necklace - vintage chain, random pendant | Clutch - Forever 21

Overall, Homecoming was wonderful, and I think it was actually the best one yet. Not the venue, necessarily, but the enjoyment level.
(Also, I forgot where I have to stand in the yard to get my shoes fully in the picture...)
