oh what a fantabulous day!

Okay, today actually was a bit of a meh day, but regardless, the depths of Pinterest, dinner with my friends, and just chilling in my common room have made up for the suckier parts, like forgetting about an Arabic test and freezing because I only wore one pair of pants today, so I think it was just the morning that could have been better.

This week was mostly spent attending rush events for Alpha Kappa Psi, poking my resumé, and sleeping, with a healthy dose of dinner with friends and freaking out over shoes. It was also spent resisting the temptation to straighten my hair when I didn't know how to manage it. I love how it looks straight, but I've chosen the form of damage I'm willing to inflict on my hair, and it's hair dye. Besides, I  should actually learn to love my hair. Getting rid of the flat iron as a crutch to making it look good is just the first step of that - eventually I'll try to like my natural hair color.

Overall, this wasn't the best week I've ever had, but it's far from the worst, or even one of the worse ones. I met lots of lovely people and had fun, and that's the important part of it. I hope you guys had great weeks, and that you'll enjoy these somewhat belated favorites of my week.

Science is cool, guys. Really cool.

I don't think I've ever paid enough attention to models to really know any but the famous ones till I saw Grace Bol a while back (roughly a year or so after I started being interested in fashion). She's absolutely gorgeous, and definitely cool.

Pretty much everything here is true. The only one I sort of have an issue with is #11, but I can go with it as valid only because being kind and compassionate is even better than 'nice'. I think #18 is the one I need to work on most. It's so easy to be overwhelmed and feel outclassed by everything I want to do and everyone that's already done it.

All I can say about this is that it's gorgeous and I absolutely love the texture of it, not to mention the shiny sprinkled into it.

I hope y'all have a lovely weekend.

HI! Please read this before you comment!

I love to hear from my readers and those new to my blog (feel free to url-drop if you need to)! Interacting with people can be so inspiring. PLEASE DON'T leave me just "FOLLOW MY BLOG" messages that you copypasta on dozens of blogs - I follow blogs when I feel inspired by their content, and I try to show it by actively commenting on the content they've generated. I will delete these responses, because they make me extremely uncomfortable. (Yes, I'm aware that's pretty odd... I'm sorry).

That said, I hope you have a lovely day!
